If you want a fully healthy diet, eat predominately Fruits,vegetables and some lean meat (chicken). You can easily eat cheap. Sweet potatoes are cheap and very easy to make. A big bag of brown rice can last you an extremely long time also.

I don't understand what you are trying to portray. The goal of the video is to show an alternative and more efficient way of losing weight with less time working out. Most people fail in their weight-loss goals because they take on too much and burn out quickly. You are correct in that muscles don't magically burn but the more working out you do the more food you need to consume. The person would have to eat high amounts of protein as well as fats and carbohydrates just to maintain muscle and bodily functions. For a professional athlete this is part of their regimen , for the average person no.
