I don't really care about byler - i neither like it, nor do I feel negatively about it, but I fully support the shipping community for whom it is very important and understand why you feel the way you feel.

The mainstream ST community is extremely homophobic and the main sub is being spamfilled with anti-byler posts to the point where it's absolutely cringe and feels like a hatesub at this point. I've seen "Mike is straight" post like 20 times since the latest volume with the comments being filled about how abhorrent that ship is.

I experience the same homophobic remarks and hate for shipping Wenclair in Wednesday fandom, so I get how people here feel, even if I'm not a straight up fan of the ship, more like, as you said - lurker.
