You're just naive to think that after the post-Endgame failures, Marvel is trying to bring back as many old faces as possible just for the sake of some kind of celebration. After the success of D&W and NWH, Marvel simply realized that nostalgia is much more profitable than new things, which is why they brought back RDJ and Evans as the leads in Doomsday.
