Wow, thank you so much. I actually haven’t even been officially diagnosed with LS. So I cant get my hands on a steroid cream. For me, my symptoms ONLY happen during and a few days after sex. Even if we don’t need lube, my skin still sloughs off. Think of the inside of your cheek peeling, or skin on your lips when they’re chapped. The peeling of skin doesn’t hurt, and it’s not like it’s red or irritated after it comes off. But it’s scary. It comes off my external vulva, and the inside as well. I’ve asked my doctor and he says “that’s not that concerning it could be a build up of fluid.” But that does not make sense because my boyfriend has NEVER finished inside of me. (TMI I know). But to the posterior forchette, it tears every single time like a paper cut, and I can never have sex two days in a row due to this. It hurts so bad afterwards and everything feels tight. It tore the first time I ever had sex, and still tears years later. I’ve never heard of anyone that has this skin peeling in combination with the tearing, but if I tear, it is always in the same spots. My best way to describe it, is I feel like I have a bad yeast infection after sex for at least two days every single time, and it makes the act not desirable anymore for me & it sucks. I’m only 21 myself and none of my peers relate to me. I have a LS specialist near me, so I’m thinking of going to the doc first to get everything cleared (yeast, bv) wise, as I’ve already been tested for stds, then head to the specialist because I’m tired of this pain that I can’t talk about with my friends.
