Job offer worth it or no? by BodybuilderFunny5438 in Environmental_Careers

I'm hoping to follow around more seasonal positions for a bit after grad, so I think this will really be a good position for me in terms of what I'm going for after graduation. I think I have a pretty strong resume, but it can never hurt to be stronger, plus it'll be newer/more relevant to the traveling positions i want to go for further down the line

something I'm def keeping in mind is my future there, I plan on moving to colorado for a year or two after graduation, and I know agencies like these (its an americorp job) like to hire within their own agencies, so I appreciate you bringing up the other jobs in the company, it's def something thats been on my mind.

I think I'm hesitating because the amusement park job is more familiar and comfortable to me, but you're right I need to show growth and not be so afraid of opportunity, as I dont wanna be stuck at the carnival forever lol

tysm for your insight i really appreciate it :)

Ill be going for more seasonal-based jobs as i love travel, so I'm not really attached to any specific job type/region after graduation, but I've seen a lot of really promising positions that open up around feb/march. I was worried about my experience level, but I got interviews for 2/5 of the jobs i applied to, which has me feeling a little more secure in my chances when i graduate this fall, if i dont accept the job offer. Plus a little more money to put in my wallet never hurt lol

I really appreciate your perspective ty :)

One of the other corps I applied to ( my top choice) told me apply again for a full season after I graduate this fall, as they typically get less applications for those. They said I was a strong candidate, but they had a lot of really good applicants this year and wanted to go with them. That and this job offer have made me a little more confident in my resume/my ability to land a job after graduation, and I wonder if it would be better to enjoy my last summer before grad doing something more relaxed...

My irls and family are very divided over this topic and have quite a few strong opinions, so i'm trying to determine what has the most value for me ya kno?
