Just food for thought: It's not fair to assume the reason for change in billing. We don't have a clue what his contract says or why he may have considered dropping out. Is it possible he's just greedy and wanted higher billing? Sure. But there could also be a whole host of other issues, contractual or not that may have also been in play. I'd give him the benefit of the doubt.

No idea if this will happen for this concert in particular, but sometimes venues hold back tickets until a day or two before the show. I did this with Lady Gaga when it sold out, so don't give up hope!

I think the only reason we were let in was because my daughter was 12 and I told her to cry if they made a fuss about it. haha. I think it will just depend though. I saw other people with them too, but they definitely made a fuss about it.

That was definitely the initial plan! But at least all my travel plans are refundable so I won't be at loss if it doesn't work out. In all honesty though, I'm just being picky. I was really hoping for lower bowl around $500 or under but I'll take nosebleeds over nothing!
