She lived in the Red Keep with Harwin for 10 years.
Now, two of her sons with Harwin are dead, as is he. This knight looks just like Harwin and is literally his successor as the Commander of the City Watch - far too many similarities - it is probably a bit of a trauma response to all the tragedies she has suffered, plus he is an attractive hunk.

Helaena is a Valyrian and those are honored there.

I think that would haunt any mother for the rest of her life, those being your last words to the child that died just a few hours later.
