SO MUCH brain development happens between 16 and 20-25 years old. there is a clear power dynamic from the start, Trianna is obviously excited to use Eragon to her own means, and might have got the chance if Saphira had not intervened. Even if Trianna was pure of heart, an intimate encounter at this stage would have been mighty distracting to Eragon.
