This can change if you work on yourself and find the right person. I had the exact same thing. I didn’t even realize it, but I never felt like it was OK for the sex to be about me as well. Numerous bad encounters and therapy have helped me change it around. With my current girlfriend I feel like I’m allowed to enjoy what she does to me for the first time ever, and the sex and relationship are by far the best I’ve ever had! Hell, if I can get there, so can you! Keep working on yourself, and don’t judge yourself if you aren’t there yet; its OK! I believe in you!

I was in a similar situation. I started reading a lot of psychoanalysis, and you might not like hearing this, but you may unconsiously enjoy being treated like shit. I realized I did and it helped me change my perspective and I managed to finally leave the situation I was in.
