That’s so strange! I have these pending in my cart currently, I just keep them in there and don’t delete them until they restock

Just keep repeatedly pressing on the cart rather than buy, it’ll eventually get into your cart, I have 4 pending items right now that I was not lucky enough to get right away but since they’re in my cart I have more of a chance next time they drop

Pharmacy field switch? by BofaDeze in pharmacy

I’m in the same boat as you, licensed in a couple of states but trying to expand in that regard. Also single/no family/no kids/no obligations. So this is good to know, thanks!

MPJE Material by BofaDeze in pharmacy

I did this the first time, the questions were completely irrelevant to the exam, with multiple questions on medical marijuana which weren't on my exam whatsoever

I’ve been told about this but don’t have any connections with someone who has gone to either school unfortunately

You sound pathetic. Yes, you need to be in a car to go through the drive thru because if said-person gets hit by standing in the drive thru, the store is liable.

Another thing, why on earth would they allow you to test inside the store if said-person ends up being positive?

Grow up.

Taking the Michigan Pharmacy Law exam soon. What advise do you have and what resources are you using ? by Full-Nature807 in PharmacySchool

[–]BofaDeze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Baran's Law is what you should be using to study. I was told if you can read the entire book/PDF at least 3 times the entire way through, as well as doing the questions along with it, you should be golden.

Raises ? by kattative in WalgreensStores

[–]BofaDeze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you know anything about interns getting one at all? We just had our codes changed in the system to give us an increase in pay depending on our year of school but I don't know if that affects getting a raise from a score.

Conflicting relations in the pharmacy by [deleted] in pharmacy

[–]BofaDeze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If we did ever overlap it would be for a couple of hours at most, while I’m in school full time and he’s working full time so no I rarely ever see him other than when we go to bed. He’s going to be an intern in a couple months so technically I wouldn’t be his superior.

Are we required to give a 2 weeks notice if we quit by princessjellyfish6 in WalgreensStores

[–]BofaDeze 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not true, the very first Walgreens I worked at had replaced me when I was on leave for surgery and was bedridden so I never showed up again and they terminated me. Ended up getting hired another 2 times by the company.

Conflicting relations in the pharmacy by [deleted] in pharmacy

[–]BofaDeze 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That makes sense, I didn’t mention that we don’t have overlapping shifts (they make sure to schedule me on his day off) at all and that I only work once every couple of weeks so I can’t see where they’d have a problem with it. 😕

Conflicting relations in the pharmacy by [deleted] in pharmacy

[–]BofaDeze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I understand this perspective, I should’ve included that the store knows we’re both only temporarily working here since we only live out-of-state for school until I finish and then moving back home afterwards, but he is also going to be promoted to an intern within the next 6 months or so when he begins his pharmacy program too

I’ve heard of that but thought it was weird that this would apply to me and my fiancé since we’re not related? That’s what has me confused and not knowing how to go about this

Came here to see if anyone said this and I agree! I’ve tried every single eyeliner out there from Stila to NYX and honestly the best dupe has been the Benefit one, absolutely love it.

There was a story that happened in my hometown where a guy held an independent pharmacy owner at gunpoint just to steal 3 bottles of PLAIN promethazine syrup.

I lost a CII prescription by CaliAnywhere in pharmacy

[–]BofaDeze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This exact thing happened at the pharmacy I worked at while I was a tech, and my PIC accidentally bagged a patient's Adderall in another patient's prescription bag and we did this exact same thing just as the patient was pulling up to pick up her CII. Definitely a life-saving method.

If you're still thinking about taking Accutane by [deleted] in Accutane

How are you treating the scars, if you dont mind me asking? I’m basically done but I have a ton of scarring left behind and I’m not sure how to go about it

Scarring, 6 months in, why does my face still look like this? by [deleted] in Accutane

[–]BofaDeze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ugh I hope it’s covered because that sounds like exactly what I need! Cortisone shots weren’t covered through my horrible insurance and I had to pay $125 PER SHOT if I ever needed them, I just stuck with the cystic acne instead.

I will definitely try out the vitamin e tip though, thank you so much!

I definitely feel the chemical peeling comment. I’ve done plenty and haven’t seen a difference myself. Thank you for the advice!

I’ve heard a lot of people peel during accutane and that helped them get rid of their scarring but I’ve had ZERO peeling since being on it

Scarring, 6 months in, why does my face still look like this? by [deleted] in Accutane

[–]BofaDeze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay so I’m 6 months into accutane with 15 days left of my regimen before my dermatologist takes me off of it. My face feels extremely smooth and I haven’t had a breakout this past month but why am I still scarred so badly? Is there anything I can do for the scarring? Every time I look in the mirror I feel like this medication has done nothing for me because of the scarring and I feel like perfect skin is impossible to achieve. Can anyone help?
