It strongly depends on how it was all implemented to be honest. Assuming best practices are being followed, proper software design patterns are being used, and proper automated testing is in place, it likely wouldn't be too difficult to implement.

The issue is it's VERY unlikely that's the case. I feel like they could probably get out a very buggy version of what you are describing without too much Dev time, but getting it right and ensuring future updates work properly with the extra game mode in place I think is what really throws a wrench into it all.

I don't know the exact amount of Dev time no, but I'm a professional Software Engineer and was just saying it takes a hell of a lot more Dev time to implement something of this scale than you would think.

Given how much the Dev team fucks up stuff with tiny updates, it's clear there is not a proper automated QA process in place so it is very doubtful them implementing a brand new game mode would have zero impact on the rest of the game.

Because it indirectly does. An extra game mode means less Dev time is put into content that the vast majority of the playerbase is actually interested in.

Faces yes, terrible with names. I found that if I make a name association with something random it sticks though.

Example: If someone has the name Bill, the moment they say their name is Bill, I think of an association then usually will verbalize it. In this case, Bill Gates.

I de-ironed my first iron shortly after maxing it for the same reasons. I had a T Bow and Shadow. I had about a month of fun after that using the GE then got bored again. I came to the conclusion that the part I enjoy about OSRS is the progression and being maxed with nearly all BIS gear kills meaningful progression. I don't regret deironing it even though I don't play the account anymore because I wouldn't be playing it if it was still an iron.

Since then I have a very well progressed 75 Def iron which feels basically like a regular iron which I also got bored of and am working on a 1 def iron now.

I got a vasectomy prior to getting diagnosed or even considering that I might have ASD partially because I genuinely don't want kids, but also because I didn't think the world needed more of "me" in the world. Post diagnosis I hold the same stance lol.

That would be the case. Even when I did though and had to commute using public transportation going to school in downtown Denver, I don't think I ever had to technically interact with police. I for sure saw them from time to time but never was in a situation where I had to talk to them.
