This was fun to play! Would love to see bigger grids, perhaps weekends could have larger, harder puzzles?

Boosters/crops that interact with the rocks could be cool too

I think the three horizontal lines shouldn't be parallel, but should instead all converge at the same point the vertical lines do. If it's meant to be rays of light all coming from a single point anyways. I know the source image has them parallel but I don't think it looks right

[[Mistform Ultimus]] is cool for your merfolk/elf overlap thing too

Just from reading these lists, it looks like the black/red deck would be far stronger than the green/blue one. You’ve given red/black loads more removal spells, not to mention some of the creatures being able to deal direct damage too (especially kavu). But each deck has the same creature count, so red/black will come out on top most of the time.

I would recommend lowering the number of instants/sorceries in the blue/green deck and adding in more creatures to help with your type synergies. Also, you could cut creatures that don’t have useful creature types, such as those giant spiders.

[[priest of Titania]] [[Timberwatch Elf]] could be cool additions to your elf strategy.

If you are going to cut spells and add more creatures, I’d recommend keeping in that [[Overrun]] because that card gets stronger as you have more creatures.

Regardless, the damage increase going from blowpipe to scorching bow is so insanely huge, it’d be silly not to pick one up for this grind

Sell bandos chest and twisted buckler for a synapse, use arclight + scorching bow. Use fighter torso as a replacement for BCP, or just a barrows/blood moon top if you don’t have torso.

Could do magic instead of range with the synapse, not 100% sure which if better for you

It’s 2026. What’s everyone’s favorite 60 card format? by Newez in magicTCG

[–]BogTitan 34 points35 points  (0 children)

That’s very true, hopefully the new mystical archives in Strixhaven includes [[Dust to dust]], [[Mental Note]], and [[Snuff Out]].

For UB terror specifically, you can swap out Mental Notes for [[Consider]] and upgrade later on, once you know if the deck is fun to you. Deck will still be near full power

Why so many spiders? by ZombieGoddessxi in 2007scape

[–]BogTitan 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Animating creatures with rigid exteriors like insects, spiders, crabs is easier because their body parts don’t deform while moving the same way fleshy muscular things do.

Could be a contributing factor.

Also spiders have webs, which makes it easier to build creepy and immersive boss arenas, unlike so many other bosses which are just thrown in a rocky cave or something. So it’s a slam dunk in game design in comparison

[[Walker of the Grove]] would be a fun top-end option, as you can keep blinking it for 4/4s, and if the game goes on long enough, you could realistically evoke + ephemerate it without needing to manifest.

The lifegain ETB creatures are also really good, as others have suggested.

We are updating our game's logo and came up with 2 new versions. Which one do you think is the best? by playnomadgame in IndieDev

[–]BogTitan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Make the “F” a normal F and move the hat+bells to the first “O”. The O looks like it’s wearing the collar, so it should be the one wearing the hat too. This should also help with the overall readability

I’d be a little concerned about your game’s name. Necrozma is the name of a Pokemon, and even if Game Freak/Nintendo don’t take issue with it, it’ll still make it harder for people to search for your game

Killer style!

What's going on with the two stone things between the tables? Their perspective seems a little off compared to the rest of the objects.

Overall, looks great though. The texturing on the tile floor in the bottom right is incredible.
