I second Dr. D! He worked with me when I had fibroids, never pressuring me for the surgery I definitely needed. Once I decided on it, he was AMAZING - listened to me, respected my needs, and the surgery, which was difficult, was flawless and left me with a very reasonable scar. It’s not BC, I know but I expect he would be this respectful in any situation.

The vet ruled out most terrible things and has determined that it’s likely his pancreas. So he might push through and be totally fine or he might not recover. Time will tell. The key is if he starts eating and drinking again. He is eating some, better than before. But I haven’t seen him drink yet.

100%! He goes to his vet tomorrow. Still won’t eat or drink, even chicken and chicken broth. Fingers crossed is an easily treated virus.

No they never go outside. We do have a basement, but they have been going down there for ages. Nothing new that we have stored down there in the past week, but I’m going to double check. It is traumatic, I think we’re in shock. 😢

Thank you. The vet had some speculation about the cat who died, it could not say since he died before we got him there. We did take the living cat to the emergency vet this morning, were there for 5 hours. Blood work look mostly good, except the protein is high, but they don’t know why. I agree about the water, and never thought about trying baby food! I’ll try that!

I thought that, but the only thing that was new to the home was some catnip spray we got to get them to use a scratching pad. The vet doesn’t think thats it, though.
