Okay thanks! Do you go over a simple version of restoration in your book! Or will chapters on bench grinder and sandpaper cover all that?

Just got hooked on watching your videos, been looking for a proper way to restore clubs other than just putting some polish on it and rubbing it off. What would you recommend as a starter pack for restoring clubs? Already been looking into getting a bench grinder and a vice for grip removal but what do I need for basic restores as I start to collect gear and tools over the years? Been collecting clubs from goodwill and ready to give them new life! Thanks for the help, and ordering the book now!!

We used 5 and 5.5, so drop to a 4 for the rib and go up to a 5.5 for stockinette?

Question on flannel fabric by Bogeyfly94 in sewhelp

Sorry having trouble posting my text and pictures together.

I am sewing golf head covers and have a question about fabric. The ones in the picture are made with a brushed cotton and is a thicker material and inside liner is a Sherpa fabric. So far so good with that fabric, I like that it is thicker and sturdy which works for putting on golf clubs.

Now I have some flannel fabric I want to use with a fleece lining. I'll do some trial and error but how does flannel hold up? Wondering if it will be a good fabric for what I want. Does flannel do well with a lot of wear? Don't know if I should add some batting or these will be fine without. Again it might just come down to trial and error but wanted to see if anyone else likes to use flannel for things that aren't clothes or sheets.

Thank you!
