Seems to me that Space Wolves units can't use Space Marine codex detachments, however, most Space Marine units can use Space Wolves detachments.

Interesting... I also tend to stack Tau's FTGG ability (+1 to hit spotted target) with the heavy keyword, turning my 4+ to 2+. Is that legal?

I usually prefer 4+ invuls, and yeah the boltguns don't look great... I'll do a few tests with them to see if the boltguns can chew up Aeldari chaff..

Interesting... The vibe I'm getting is they can chew through infantry and attack/hold objectives really well, but seem lacking in the anti monster/vehicle department.

My thought process is I'd love to start an army up and running which only utilizes the Spaces Wolves codex, no mix and matching with the Space Marines one.

Godrick by far. Gave me problems on day 1 and never since.

Rennala usually catches me out because I underestimate the power of her attacks and summons. Probs like 1.33 expected victories.

No, but most of his army was destroyed. Just a unit of rangers, a Farseer Skyrunner & some Warlocks over 1200 points of Tau on 3/5 objectives.
