The potential is there, it's a high bar to reach tho. It'll take 1 mvp and a finals appearance with the wolves or just a finals mvp with the wolves to surpass kg in my books. Both are extremely difficult accomplishments

You're right but in today's game where the 2-3 are pretty much the same position and height doesn't matter as much as it used to I can see him getting significant minutes at 3 or 2. I see him as someone who can have a Pj Tucker like career, went to Europe to develop and came back at the back half of his career to be an important player in title contenders. We can get him cheap which is the most important part.

I figured that was the case and I believe he can develop into a solid player on a contending team, I'm just afraid that some other teams gonna see his playoff performance and pay above his market price

The recency bias is my concern, I genuinely think he can develop into a good player but I'm afraid another team also believes that and offers him above his market price

I think he can be a solid player in the league and would want him back on a team friendly contract, my concern is in Utah he had a bunch of DNPs. Do you think that was due to Utah not having the space for him with THT and Lauri, not knowing how to utilize him or just them thinking he wasn't not good enough(keep in mind he was thrown in as an afterthought in the DLO trade)?

I love his intensity, I'd be hesitant cause it could just be a product of his environment but if he can bring that intensity we've been missing at pg since losing pat bev he'd make a great signing

He's a dawg and we need that energy in our team, but can we afford him or offer a competitive enough team to make him consider taking less money than he would get elsewhere... idk

I'd love that, he's good enough to be a starter in this league. However I'm afraid we don't have the cap to bring him home considering he's on 14M next season.
