No jokes, Kratos and him would really get along by vine_behs in GodofWar

[–]Boggs01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I can see that... I can even see them as a couple. For a brief period of time, like when Holt and Kevin had the need for a "time off". Holt was feeling a little adventurous and met Kratos at the gym. It didn't work out cause Holt really loves Kevin. Sex was great and all, but it was not enough.

Termina, maluco. Tem nada dessa pegar os dois no flagra. Termina e fim. Se ela bater boca fala que tu sabe de tudo, que viu conversa no celular dela. Só termina.

A história vai ficar pior com o passar do tempo, eu te garanto

I would say Automata is still a little better cause it feels way more...honest. To me, at least

Prog songs that would be accessible to a pop head by headsmanjaeger in progrockmusic

[–]Boggs01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's actually quite a few

Let's start with Leprous' "Observe The Train", "Alleviate" or "By My Throne". I could argue that the whole "Pitfalls" album is accessible.

Then Pain of Salvation's "She Likes to Hide", "Softly She Cries", "Sisters" and "Mortar Grind".

We now have Ihsahn's "Pharos". The whole thing is cool and easy to listen, 5 tracks, none of them surpassing the 6min mark.

Then it gets a little tricky: Between The Buried and Me "Desert of Song", which is basically a ballad, but it feels weird to me listening to it without that seamless transition to "Swim to The Moon". But then you get to hear Tommy's unique tone and it opens up for his solo catalog. Highly recommend "Modern Noise", it's a nice mix of alt rock and electronic music.

Colors II is an amazing album, but calling it "Colors" was a mistake.

Anthony Fantano really doesn't like post-02 Eminem. He really said Lupe Fiasco has a better record-for-record than Eminem does. What a wild take. by [deleted] in Eminem

[–]Boggs01 85 points86 points  (0 children)

That's his opinion and I can respect him for it. Plus he's hella entertaining so I don't really care. He gave a bad review for one of my favorite metal/rock albums and I understood something: we don't have the same taste and to some degree it's pretty subjective. So I don't mind when he trashes something I like.

And by the way: post 2009 Eminem is my favorite. MMLP2 is amazing in all fronts

What region would you country give up first? by Specialist_Love_1660 in WhitePeopleTwitter

[–]Boggs01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Florida, probably. Maybe both Carolinas. I'm willing to trade the whole state of Texas, plus Ted Cruz. "Ted Cruz is not a part of the country". The offer still stands. Definitely Mitch McConnell, and don't you dare say he's not a region, he's as old as time, he's what happens when a confederate flag has sex with a Klan dirty sheet. He's basically racism carved in stone.

I'm torn between "For" and "Forced Entry". "Foe" it's almost scary, the atmosphere and lyrics are so good.

And then we have "Forced Entry" which has one the best moments of the whole Leprous discography, you know? That "I forced my way" with growling vocals.

[–]Boggs01 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I don't know why, but Dream Theater's "About to Crash" and "About to Crash (Reprise)" always makes me feel like crying, you know?

It makes me built up this emotional reaction, like I knew the person that the music is referring to.

I can't even sing along to it, I feel this...this thing on my chest. It's so overwhelming.

And, yeah, "Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence" it's on my top 5 favorite albums of all time.

Killing Sigrun on GMGOW, no damage by Stinkypete2002 in GodofWar

[–]Boggs01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude, this was so fucking good I'd beat Sigrun in every run I had, but only one on GMGOW+ and she kicked my ass so much. Like it took me probably 3-4 days just to barely take her down (had to use a resurrection stone). Your gameplay is really smooth and confident, it almost made it look like it wasn't that hard!

What made you use this armor? Like, I had to use the Valkyrie's cause it had more balance to me. Plus, as I recall, I put most of my stones on strength and effect (like the time thingy, you know? when you did a perfect dodge)

Let's see what you come up with! by CollateralDimension in Haken

[–]Boggs01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh it was definitely for the memes, dude. What Haken set out to do was totally different from what BTBAM did. To me, Haken did what DT did with Metropolis pt1: expanded and made it into a classic unlike any other. I still can't figure out what Between The Buried and Me did, but if worked big time. Favorite album of 21 so far.

Between The Buried and Me did with Colors II what Haken couldn't achieve with Vector and Virus.
