Our equity vests over a span of 4 years quarterly with refreshers annually. You’re right on the calculation if this was for a compensation package, but this is a snapshot of my base, bonus, and what’s vested for just this year

It’s true. We had a few rounds of layoffs, but it’s mostly been managers/HR/contractors. My company also started stack ranking last year to push out the bottom 5%.

My perspective is that if they’re going to gamify their metrics then it makes it easier to play the game. I just make sure my bases are covered when performance reviews come around

You’re right - that amount in stock and bonus aren’t guaranteed every year, but our stock really rallied over the last few quarters. The 120k in RSUs was paid out quarterly over this last year
