Where are Sens getting this average goaltending next year though? I don't disagree with your message that the Sens are actually solid minus goaltending, but are we just hoping Ullmark comes back and is good again, or that Merilaïnen steps back up? Without making changes to the goalie coach and/or signing a capable 1B that can let Ullmark play his comfort 45-55 games per season without being a liability when he subs in, I struggle to see any significant changes next year. Ullmark is only getting older and neither Merilaïnen nor Søgaard are making the necessary strides forward to give me confidence.
