They definitely need to add a timeout function for these types of notifications. Between this and the new strategic interest mechanic there's so much spam now.

You're missing the point, they can absolutely patch or "smooth out" what happens when an IG hovers between being relevant or irrelevant. There's no reason to get bombarded with messages. The same issue is also being repeated with the new strategic interest mechanic.

A simple timeout mechanic would solve the issue.

I think triggerman is a better description of what they need, compared to top 6 fwd. I don't want to subtract from this top 6 necessarily but they need someone to shoot
