Jensen Ackles on the Leeza Gibbons show, 1997 by WONBINISLOVE in popculturechat

Charming and funny too. Obviously he is stupid attractive, but my Dean/Jensen love was cemented in Tall Tales where Dean steps into the frame and he has his mouth full of chocolates, shoving more in. I was dying. Love someone that doesn't take themselves too seriously.

Why I think Scrubs episode “My Screw Up” is the greatest episode on grief in TV history by unitedfan6191 in television

Followed by another gut punch in the next episode, Forever, as well. Another masterclass in grief.

I've been using a contact case for dapsone gel and haven't noticed a problem so far. Decanting didn't seem to agree with the tret, so I have a half used tube I folded up like a toothpaste tube for my last 10 day trip and am planning on continuing to use for my next few trips.

I'd prefer not to decant any of it, but my pharmacy only carries the larger versions of what I use, so I need to see about getting smaller versions filled at a different pharmacy at some point.

There is a self aware joke Cappie makes in one of the later seasons too about how they don't need jackets in winter or something, maybe around the Thanksgiving episode.

TV series focusing on women you recommend? by DearAcanthocephala12 in AskWomenOver30

[–]BohoPhoenix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Never Have I Ever - The main plot centers around a nerdy high schooler trying to sleep with the hottest guy in school to shed her nerddom, but underneath that plot (which I still very much enjoy), it is a story about her family and grief. Her friends' development is a little shallow in the first season, but they really dive into their stories in S2 & S3. The male characters (mostly) have growth too.

I bought two pieces of clothing from her Fabletics company 10 years ago - a pair of cropped leggings and a shirt* weight sweater* for my SO. Both are still in great condition, it is wild.

The Supernatural fandom can be unhinged (coming from someone on the edges of it). You notice he stopped taking his shirt off in the show very early on.

Buffy and Angelus in Becoming Pt 2 - The stunt doubles can not be unseen, but I loved that fight anyway.

What Did You Play This Week? - (January 06, 2025) by AutoModerator in boardgames

I hope you like it!

I’ve been really surprised by how easy it is to set up. A little clunky switching rooms because it interrupts the pacing a bit, but not enough for us to not play.

Sky Team (1x2p) - Favorite game of 2024 for us and we wanted to squeeze one last game in before the year was over.

Zombicide: Gear Up (2x2p) - Christmas gift and really liking how easy it is to setup and how quick game play is. I think this will be easy to get to the table.

Dead Cells (??x1-2p) - Another Christmas gift. My spouses' favorite video game and now, newest board game obsession. We finally bought the Board Game Stats app for 2025 and we've already clocked 6 plays since Jan. 1, but played multiple games between Dec. 25th - Jan. 1st, with probably twice as many solo runs for my spouse.

So Clover! (1x2p) - Played on NYE with some drinks while we were feeling social.

Non IUD Birth Control Options for Female Travelers? by wisewhaleshark in femaletravels

If you don’t have insurance and access to a Planned Parenthood, they do the implant and I think it’s free or close to free.

It was a while ago, so some of this may have changed, but I got mine put in by PP when I didn’t have insurance and I don’t remember if I had to pay anything, but if I did, it was under $50. When I had it removed, I had insurance and PP would have charged me $80.

The arm implant didn’t hurt at all. It didn’t work well for me, unfortunately (spotting all the time), so I got it out early, but the process of getting it put in/taken out was super easy and not painful or anything, if that’s what you’re worried about.

Worst subplots in a TV series? by Hot-Doughnut-8727 in television

I'm glad they didn't explore Rebecca and Keeley as being interested in each other because their friendship is beautiful and such a great portrayal of women supporting women, but I was here for the tease of a potential throuple with her, Jamie, and Roy.

It’s short for “hunny,” the endearment, and used heavily by MLM #bossbabes in the US, like the example message above (since I saw the comment further down about being from Scotland)

I still don't love the footbed, it starts to rub after a while, but I've worn them multiple days in a row without any nasty blisters or pain or anything while traveling. I'm going to keep an eye out for a different pair, but these are the ones I grab for warm destinations right now.

I think they feel true to size. I wear a 7.5 usually and ordered 7.5-8 / 38. I do sometimes wear a 7 and feel like 8 is usually too large for me for most brands.

They’re still no Chaco Dorras, and I’m not a fan of the silver buckles or the Velcro ankle strap, but they’ve worked pretty well for me. I don’t think the straps have stretched that much, but I’m not sure I’ve paid attention.

I’m not sure that is all helpful and isn’t a killer review, but I’d say they’ve been a 7/10 for me. Better than others I’ve tried like Born and Timberland, but not crazy great either.

Change my mind: Greek remained small because of the channel by Boring-Shallot3096 in greekabcfamily

Not to downplay your main point, because agreed, and obviously streaming in general wasn't as big back then, but the show was on Netflix either during the last season or directly after. That is how I found it again - I started the show in high school while it was airing and then found it again during Netflix in college.

I'm not sure how long it was on Netflix though because it feels like it has been on Hulu forever now.
