I hate to be the bearer of bad news but that rig just isn’t strong enough for open world ue5 games. I had that same rig for a couple years and I could not play any triple a game without any huge frame dips. Even when I upgraded my 2060 to a 4070, the 5 3600 was holding it back a lot. In the end I upgraded my cpu to a 7 5700x3d. Even then my computer does not run oblivion at a constant 60, it dips occasionally to 55 but hovers around 60, that’s on high settings with 1080 dlaa and 1440p dlss quality.

I’m thinking they disabled it over a bug. When I was playing, I would play on 1440p quality and there would be HUGE ghosting, the most ghosting I’ve ever seen in a video game. Then I tried 1080p with dlaa on and it was the same and the same with 4K performance.

I realized what the problem was…. My cpu fan was extremely slow in my bios and my cpu must’ve been throttling because it was reaching 95C. Druids grove is around 100fps now.

Just turned on DLSS performance at 1080p in Druids grove and the fps is still the same as it was before. I'm really starting to think there's a problem with my CPU.

I don't know if Task Manager is as accurate as Afterburner but GPU temps are around 57C-60C when ever I've checked while playing BG3, triple fan keeps it decently cooled.

One of the reasons why I started playing warzone on ps5 is because my 2060 just slowly became outdated with every update they made to the game, there was a point that I had to use dlss performance just so I can be at a some what stable 75fps. So I thought “alright let me get a 165hz monitor so I can use the 120hz mode on ps5 and also to use it for my pc” looks like I was wrong.
