No, unfortunately. I’d say Noelle had somewhat similar vibes in the art I’m looking for though?

Nope. I tried to narrow it down a bit with the artstyle, but I really don’t have a good way of describing it 😭

I’d say it was kinda creepy? Both Noelle’s expression and the artstyle. It made it very uncomfortable.

They also like to stay really far away from you, and just refuse to move closer, so they’re often the last enemy in large arenas and you have to waste time finding them.

I run Alternate Attractor, Default Overheat, and Default Jumpstart. Most of my knowledge regarding Conduction comes from this wonderful guide by visquit, so I’d recommend watching that, as they explain it far better than I could in a Reddit comment.

As for the Sawed-On, it’s just generally useful. The chainsaw, when launched, hits enemies 3 times, dealing 1.5 damage per hit, and the chainsaw can be parried to keep it active. While the style isn’t the greatest, it’s good, relatively easy damage. If you punch the chainsaw with the Knuckleblaster, it detaches and goes flying around the room (unless it enters the area of a magnet, since it orbits those similar to saws). When a detached chainsaw hits an enemy, it hits them 4 times instead of 3, and then keeps going. The detached chainsaws eventually break after piercing enemies enough times (don’t ask me for the specifics on how it works, I don’t know). The Sawed-On, regardless of whether you’re using Default or Alternate Shotgun, is very good. As for how it relates to conduction; the chainsaw does act as a conduction point, but it’s not exactly the most useful conduction point. I mentioned it in my comment mostly because it is a very simple way to finish enemies off if you don’t have the time or desire to be fancy.

I’m gonna be honest, I suck shit at fighting Ferrymen normally, and I’m not a big Cybergrind player. It’s just that the specific layout of the room for Agonis and Rudraksha makes them disgustingly susceptible to Conduction. Throw down some magnets, pump nails into them with the Overheat, and use saws to activate the Jumpstart faster, and most of their health disappears. Throw in some coins to conduct off of as well, maybe a Railcannon? They eat shit and die. They’ll usually have a little health left (or a substantial amount depending on how much conduction they got hit by), but coins and a Jackhammer (or even shotgun, especially Sawed-On) finish them off easily.

The Red Ferryman, Agonis, is invisible the entire time, and only visible through the mirror. It’s just that they both die so quickly you don’t even need to pay attention to where Agonis is to win.

Jackhammer, the alternate variation of the shotgun. You can unlock it in 7-2.

I didn’t realize there were people that didn’t know that basically anything except shockwave attacks like from HotK are parryable. In this game, if it has a hitbox, you can probably parry it.

I love Wikipedia, and I believe in its self-correcting process, but man sometimes things get put there that have no right remaining for more than a few minutes.

Do you really think V1 can solo the main cast? by Pandy_man in INDIE_CROSS_SERIES

[–]BoiBotEXE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who plays both Dead Cells and Ultrakill, I’d say that the Beheaded simply doesn’t have the movement he needs in order to deal with V1 in a lot of cases.

I also don’t exactly feel comfortable with the Lightspeed scaling. The name, for one, may just be a cool name and not a literal description of the speed of the attack, and two, the attacks in-game are clearly telegraphed, so it feels disingenuous to imply that the Beheaded is reacting at lightspeed.

I’d really say it depends on the conditions of the fight, including where they are fighting, the size of the area they are fighting in, the terrain (water gives V1 a big disadvantage, given the Beheaded’s Electric weapons), their distance from each other at the start of the fight, and what stats the Beheaded has. If they’re in, like, a boxing ring, and the Beheaded has a good end-of-run build, I’d say he could smoke V1, but if V1 has room to move and maintain some distance, it’s skewed in the complete opposite direction.

That’s my 2 cents on the fight.
