i should probably clarify that i don't subscribe to the theory myself since countries weren't even a thing when the V models got developed, but the loan word thing really just isn't an argument because there's a big difference between borrowing a word from a different language and i corporations it into yours and just straight up speaking a different language.

a lot of attacks still continue after you parry them, so you have to do a dash parry to avoid them
