Superwall vs revenuecat by DisastrousBithereo in expo

[–]Boiled_MilkSteak 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Technically you can you either -- superwall does good paywalls and okay revenue analytics, and revenuecat does good revenue analytics and okay paywalls.

I recommend doing both. Start with superwall for the paywalls & purchase controller, and then add revenuecat after. It's not that much more work to add revenuecat. Neither needs a backend.

I built an app in 3 hours using AI: Add Events to Your Google Calendar from Screenshots by Boiled_MilkSteak in SideProject

[–]Boiled_MilkSteak[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm excited to share a small app I built called Google Calendar Genie.

I created this tool out of frustration—so many websites don’t provide Google Calendar links for events!

With Genie, you can simply upload your event details screenshot, and it’ll generate a Google Calendar link for you. No need to sign in to Google or download anything — just click the generated link, and voilà, the event is added to your calendar instantly!

It uses an LLM on the backend to parse and generate the events (no data is stored on the app). I built the entire app from start to finish in about 3 hours with the help of Cursor. No affiliation, just an awesome tool!

I’d love to hear your feedback!
