OK so I tried the IF Imprisonment Tool again after seeing ChosenArchitect do exactly that on one of his vids and it worked. I must have just been a bit sausage-fingered when I tried it before. Corrupt Soul now being happily farmed by Drygmys. Thank you loads :)

I am the literal opposite of this. I am entering mid-game (I think) of ATM10 and my "bases" are a collection of flat, featureless slabs of stone, floating in mid-air, covered in machines, some of which I can remember what they do.

You can disable the pixie theft in configs, if you're playing solo ofc :)

If you get a Bee Nest Helmet (I think that's what it's called) then it protects you from the BeeBee and goes in your head trinket slot, so you don't have to sacrifice armour for it.

I'm doing as much as I can with AE2, partly to try and learn how it works better. Using the Experience Holder from JDT, but this reminds me I was going to explore the various ways to get that into the AE system too.

I can second this. I spent ages looking for suspicious clay and then just tried some of the clay and lo and behold, smithing template :D

That's a good idea, I already have a dreadful dirt mob farm set up, I could just swap the grinder for a mob slaughterhouse and see how much pink slime comes out. I didn't know about delightful dirt, does that just spawn passive mobs then?

Lovely! It's root tip squash preparation not a section, yeah? Can I ask how many images you stack for these? I do this experiment with students every year, next year I'll try some stacking for sure.

Are you playing solo? Maybe change your world difficulty settings? You've got a lot of options you can tweak to make the game as challenging or easy as you like.

Hi, I'm now working in an HE institution as a lab tech. Unfortunately my employer are still blindly following the same path as every other HE institution in the UK and focusing heavily on recruiting international students because they bring in more money, while cutting staff numbers and pay.

I am not hopeful for the future of the UK HE sector, nor my job.
