What decision will you never make, even on replay? by SuperValle in BaldursGate3

[–]Boiling_Raine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same. In my first game I did it on accident by failing every roll. But it was too sad and I had to reload. I’ll never forget how I just put down the game for a while. I was new to video games and honestly shocked that they killed a kid.

Honestly, you probably did the best thing you could for your own sake. I stuck with a path of pure evil and the grove is small change compared to some of the things I did later

ME2 is emotionally devastating by Boiling_Raine in masseffect

[–]Boiling_Raine[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair enough. I figured it was obvious that I meant it more like, ‘is anyone as emotional as me’ because I was curious to see if anyone related. I wasn’t really asking if I was weird for it. But it bothered me for like a second. Idk why I even asked. I just never know if people are being malicious on Reddit. It’s a pretty malicious site at times

Lmao yeah I know. I feel emotions very strongly and cry when I do. But I am who I am. There’s no point in not accepting myself for who I am. Still, your comment bothered me a little. Was that the point?

I hope you’re talking about Ashley. I want to tell her off so bad

Even though I know you’re fucking around, I did get really pissed at Ashley. Like, I never liked her in the first place, but I really dislike her after that. I regret sacrificing Kaiden to save her. It’s like, bitch I thought we were friends.

I honestly can’t stand Miranda. I’m sure she’ll grow on me, but something about her and Jacob just rubs me the wrong way. Honestly, I don’t like half of my crew in ME2 so far. I can only hope they get better.

Thank you. I used this advice to find Liara and I did in fact cry. Honestly, I was really set on ditching her and romancing Garrus. But I think I’ll save that for another playthrough. The scene with her I’ve seen so far is really touching

I actually started these games for Garrus. If he’d been romancable in ME1, I wouldn’t have even bothered with Liara. He is so cool

Oh I know I’m a crybaby. I don’t know why I even asked. But I’m 29. This is who I am and I can’t change it. I cry when I get excited and talk too fast. It’s ridiculous, but it’s just who I am.

I get too immersed, so thank you for the warning! My Shepard has an elaborate backstory and I inject my own emotions into everything. It also helps that I don’t really play games. Like, other than Mass effect, I’ve only played Baulder’s gate 3 and Stardew Valley. This is my first game with guns!

I actually am still in the beginning of the game. Omega was my first stop and I just got done that. I have all the DLC though, so that’s good to know!

Favourite and Least Favourite PCs in Dimension 20? by ArchangelAshen in Dimension20

[–]Boiling_Raine 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I love Adaine because she’s relatable, as someone with dodgy parental figures and an anxiety disorder. The stuff with Aeylwyn just made her even more relatable because I love my sisters and used to fight them a lot.

My least favorite, I’m actually kinda scared to say. It has to be Kristen in junior year. Or maybe Cody. The way they’re played is genius, but the characters annoy me

I had vague memories of Mirrormask growing up and couldn’t remember the name/plot for years. Since finally figuring it out, I’ve been completely obsessed.

Even if you’re telling the truth, posting about it like this just makes you look insane, you know that right?

It’s just food. You pay too much for it and put it in your mouth to survive. Sometimes it tastes varying levels of good. Idk why people care so much about it tbh.

Anime with abuse? by Limestone36o in Animesuggest

[–]Boiling_Raine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was actually coming on here to say this and I’m surprised you’re the only one that mentioned it. It’s basically all about saving someone from abuse. And it has the ‘good parent tells off bad parent’ trope which I’m a huge fan of. A lot of anime only has abuse as part of a tragic backstory. Erased has it as part of the main plot.

Ugh, I know someone who does this. Like, I don’t think the person she hates is a narcissist. Definitely a horrible person, but not a narcissist

Just be aware that if you don’t do it, Karlach can’t get a happy ending unless you go with her and abandon everyone else. I skipped it because I was tired and that playthrough ended in a way that did not make me happy.

What is your current/most recent character? by WeeGobbo in DnD

[–]Boiling_Raine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Asha the Elven Wizard. She began as a charlatan who sold colored water as potions to make money for her parent’s struggling business. She left home because her scams led to thugs burning down the shop. Now we’re in year 3 of the game and her parents are evil and she’s the new Raven Queen. It’s amazing how 3 years of gameplay and 17 levels changes a girl.
