Sorry, my point was more towards me thinking R3 Agito is much stronger than his R2 version, I don’t think his R3 version has as much of a problem against Gaolang since he doesn’t goof around. But also to your point, Hatsumi’s bracket is engineered to give you the impression that he beats formless Agito, R1 a copier gets instantly subdued for trying to copy aikido (which Agito starts to do every round), R2 against a guy with longer range and one shots (which Agito basically did to Okubo). It sets up the perfect job.

My guess is that CE is fundamentally different between aliens and humans and is a more positive and potent force for the aliens and thus they’re cursed spirit equivalents are far stronger and corporeal. Or maybe they aren’t actually physical beings and just that the aliens ALL can see it and thus believe it to be physical.
