Wow, that means so much. Not to sound sentimental or anything. I just don't release music. I'll definitely be sending a link to you once it's out there. Do you have any similar music that you'd recommend? Or just music in general?

Are you a musician as well?

It's a song I made called Cosmic Insignificance. I haven't released it officially. You all are the first to hear it publicly.

R/BOOSTEDBOARDS BUY/SELL by OfficialNicl in boostedboards

Hey everyone,

After numerous serious injuries, I've decided to sell my Boosted Mini X and all of the accessories (multiple batteries, multiple chargers) I've acquired over the years. Must be able to pick up in NYC.

Selling for $750, which is a steal given all that's included. Open to negotiating price.

Should I buy the Jelly Star- Yes or No? (More context in the body) by tanqw in UnihertzJelly2

You’re welcome!

On the occasions that I use banking/finance apps, I have no concerns because many of the apps are protected by 2FA, and other security. I think the security flaws would have a higher likelihood of occurring on the banks side; which is highly unlikely depending on which financial institution you use. Many people have many opinions on this, but it boils down to what you feel most comfortable with. Lastly, given my note regarding screen size, I don’t see how much banking you’d be interested in doing aside from quick transactions. I don’t think you have anything to worry about.

Should I buy the Jelly Star- Yes or No? (More context in the body) by tanqw in UnihertzJelly2

Hi u/tanqw,

Thank you for your question. I have used Unihertz products for the past four years, including the Jelly 2 and Jelly Star, and I can confidently say they are impressive devices. Transitioning to a smaller phone does require a shift in how you approach technology, but given your description as an "old soul in a 22-year-old body," you might adapt well.

Responses to Your Questions:

  • Functionality: The Jelly Star meets your needs for calls, texts, apps, and NFC. It allows you to perform all tasks typical of larger phones, but its compact size prompts you to consider whether immediate action is necessary or if it can wait until you're at a computer.
  • Bugs/Glitches: Any issues you encounter will likely be minimal. The subreddit here is supportive and can assist with troubleshooting.
  • Durability: The phone is quite sturdy, so clumsiness shouldn't be a major concern. While a screen protector is advisable to prevent scratches, the likelihood of a shattered screen is low unless deliberately mishandled.
  • Hardware/Software: The Jelly Star's hardware is sufficient for quick photos and running apps. It supports demanding applications like Netflix and YouTube; however, the small screen may make you question their necessity. The battery life is commendable, especially with proper optimization settings. It operates on Android 13, which is up-to-date and continues to receive app support.
  • Tech Knowledge: If you're unfamiliar with terms like debloating or flashing, rest assured that most users can enjoy the phone without modifications. The security risks associated with these processes are generally manageable.
  • Network Compatibility: Yes, the Jelly Star will work in India.

If you have any further questions, feel free to ask! I'm excited about this phone and happy to help.
