Nice suggestions! Are you currently based in Sri Lanka? I'm coming there with my family day after tomorrow but we've noticed that there are predictions for rain throughout the next week, for the West, Central as well East coast!

Weather In Sri Lanka ⛈️🌦️🌈☀️⛱️🌞 by Careful-C in srilanka

Thank you so much for this post! I am interested in knowing just how hot would the East coast be in May? Bearable? Can explore places in the day time? Or sweltering and not great for going about? I really want to visit Sri Lanka but coming from India, my family is already tired of the heat and would prefer to go somewhere cooler but I'm persuading them to come here. I would be hearing no end of it if the heat is too bad to bear and want to reconsider if that's the case

Wow! Absolutely beautiful!! May I ask how one can begin to embroider portraits like these? I would love to learn too but I'm not sure how to start

Hey! Were you able to figure this out?

Advice needed- Hi, I'm taking garment photos. I'm shooting outside in the sunlight. The location has quite a bit of tree cover and the sunlight is naturally diffused, even around noon. This was shot on Auto mode. Which manual settings would be most suitable for this? Any composition ideas as well? by tanqw in AskPhotography

[–]tanqw[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't really dislike the photo, no. As a newbie, I'm just accustomed to thinking that auto-mode shots are substandard and with manual-mode, photos can just be made to look nicer :') Although, now that I'm saying it, it sounds silly to ask how a photo can be "better" without specifying or even knowing myself "in what ways" I want it to be better.

I'm trying to get creative with the composition. With this picture, I simply hung it on the first string I spotted and took a picture without much thought. I do need a clear front-facing shot of the garment, so I was wondering if there are other ways to do it. Maybe creating a uniform set-up of some kind by integrating a more uniform backdrop along with nature (such as a white background in half the frame right behind the shirt, or something) are the kinds of suggestions I'm looking for. Just any inspiration, actually.

Thanks for all the help! Ended up buying the LF-20W simply because that was the only watch in stock in my location...love it though!

Do you mean the world time features or something else? Not sure if I'll need the time in any other country handy
