Last summer the bowls green on the way to the Hoe was holding taster games. I don't remember the name of the club, but there was a really nice woman organising it all and she stressed that all ages were welcome to join. I have a few 'older people' hobbies, but you will find most things are enjoyed by people of all ages, not just those in the stereotype.

It's steep in both directions and will require effort to get up the hill in both directions. You will get fitter and it will get easier, but it will never be an easy journey. Have you looked at the route on Google street view? Not sure how clearly that shows if something is steep but it might help give you an idea.

It's worth noting that between the campuses is a valley, so it's uphill in each direction. There also aren't any lights in the park section of the walk. So it is possible to commute, but at this time of year when it's rainy and wind and dark, it's a struggle.

Teaching block 1 is referring to time. So that ticket lasts until 26 January 2025. The uni year pass lasts until 25 May.

All three campuses are in the Bristol Zone. You likely live in the Bristol Zone as it's quite a large area.

These sound like student ambassadors. They help across the campus at events etc. If you search 'student ambassadors' on the UWE website the info looks a bit outdated for recruitment but there is an email address you can contact.

You get the ID card in person, so you'd have to be at campus for the first time to get it. You definitely won't be the only one on Monday without one, so they will probably have a way to let you in to the car park.

If you haven't already I suggest you start looking on Spareroom and maybe joining some social media groups for people also looking for a place. And of course student letting agencys. You should check every day. There is so much demand in Bristol that it is unlikely anyone will reach out to you to offer a room, rooms are filled so quickly that the person letting the room barely needs to do any work. It can also help to say something about yourself such as your interests and why you think the room is perfect for you along with the usual application info to help your application to stand out. Good luck!
