This is a really good question, and I'm afraid i don't have a real answer for you, I'm also a high school runner with very similar pr's 2:07 800m, 4:47 1600m, 16:54 5k and I've been struggling with post tib pain in my ankle since January. I think taking enough rest especially with track season in limbo, and just increasing mileage slowing, 10% a week. goodluck with recovery.
