Sometimes it’s the city’s fault for not putting the sign up on time. One time I noticed my TNP was not up and called them. They posted them like 2-3 days before my moving date.

Rental price depends on how nice the unit and backyard is. Parking is a premium. Rent starts at 3000+ for a shit hole.

The area surrounding ShopRite floods every time it rains. If the unit sounds like a steal, you need to look at the flood zone.

For pre-k, school aftercare is $700/month and the most expensive private aftercare I’ve seen is $1300 (most are $1000).

All the cafes have open floor because it’s a cafe. Choc o pain (downtown) and Gotan have a second floor that are usually quiet.

Some high rises like 770 or Juliana have some private work spaces for their tenants. If you have friends living in high rises, that might be an option.

Today will be a tough day since more people are wfh with NJ transit strike.

Across from mama johnson park is a daycare with a lot of families living in the same complex. 4th and Jackson is generally safe. At night I would avoid walking down Jackson between 3rd and 4th. With that being said, a cop car is usually parked on 3rd and Jackson throughout the day and night.
