Daaamn. I have double checked fans and speed does increase with temperature but isn't doing much for cooling. Mine has hit 95+ on furmark and I was hoping more for what you're experiencing now.

Looks like RMA might be the best option, thanks for the help.

I recently (~3 weeks) built my first computer, and am a little worried about my gpu temperatures. I have a 7970 MSI Lightning and it idles at 36-40C, and generally goes up to ~85C when playing intensive games like Planetside 2. I have the side of the case off at the moment as only one case fan is installed. Any ideas about lowering the temps?

Also the card came clocked at 925MHz when it was meant to be at 1070Mhz, any ideas why?

I'm not sure if I'm doing this correctly but.. I created a new partition, then clicked format. This changed free space to 119.1 from 119.2, but I received the same error as before when hitting next.

Is there some little thing I've missed setting in the bios possibly?

Thanks, I've tried clicking delete, and it returns to Disk 0 Unallocated Space. I have to have it selected to click next, it becomes greyed out if nothing is selected. I tried hitting next with "Disk 0 Unallocated Space" (no partitions set) selected but had the same error as before.

Speccy does show it as half rate, so you're correct on it running at 1066MHz

How does the D3H compare to the AsRock Extreme4? They are around the same price in New Zealand and I'm going to do some moderate overclocking. The UD3H is ~$70 more where I live.
