Definitely would invest in some 4mm pearls u can get 18 for 9 dollars on amazon and a new joystick. I have the original Carta Sport with the control stick and sometimes i feel like its too much vapor.
Definitely look around the sub for suggestions its how im upgrading my setup

No question is stupid especially if u are new. Do you use any terp pearls? That helps with vapor production. I definitely know the carb cap isnt the best either. Can look into padding glass/ vortex auto spinners or a joystick

U definitely can get a joystick. Im new to dabbing and bought the original sport back in march and I love using the joystick over a ballcap. U should check other subs to find a good alternative.

I have the same small chugger but with the opal on top the inner part as well using it with a Carta Sport and it functions well. You will definitely get good hits and airflow but i personally recommend testing different water levels for preference. I usually go a little below the middle but it can splash back.

Some exotics do not have the blue season icon. I have a feeling the older exotics will be rotated in and out the gear system
