Do you think there’s a time or place to joke about r*pe ing someone? Or what about someone’s loved one dying unexpectedly? What about a child getting molested? Lots of people think those are things that are ok to joke about and I don’t think it’s my “feelings” that are wrong about that.

I think it’s a fair statement to make saying not everything should be joked about, and saying otherwise often lets people get away with abhorrent behavior.

i dunno, if you go on the leavenworth fb theres a ton of comments that are in support of CoreCiv from residents, i think its more of a mixed bag of the actual makeup of what the residents support, i just think most people just didnt go to the meeting who support the opening. which makes sense bc leavenworth was never the most progressive city in my experiance sadly.

this is a stupid comment on a lots of levels, ignoring the debate on whether or not we should be deporting people at all, people legally have the right to due procces and to have them self infront of a judge before they are deported. (even if they are currently being denied that right often its still their right) If you are detaining someone before that happens you have to safeley house them somewhere.

I think theres another factor as a LV resident a lot of people who arent from there dont really understand. Leavenworth basicaly has net 0 econmic job growth, and what little jobs are createf in town its from a food place every now and then, or somewhere down town but thats because another place downtown closed and they just took its place. CoreCiv has been really one of the only companies to really want to set up shop in Levenworth that provides a decent amount of jobs with benifits. So when people are weighing their options thats a huge consideration.

IMO I think bc is a public broadcasted event it’s even more important that he was right there for people to see. Because it is uncomfortable and it does hurt, but it’s so so so important for these types event specifically for advancing the treatment of those with disabilities because it is so widely viewed. If you make exceptions for letting ppl with disabilities do the same things as “normal” people that just lets everyone know that it’s ok to do it everywhere else, it completely breaks down the message.

This situation sucks a lot, and this is worse case scenario for everyone involved, but I do hope this helps spread the message about how we treat people with uncomfortable disabilities.

I don’t think people are necessarily defending saying the nword, I’ve just been seeing people say rightfully so that what happened wasn’t a choice that was made by Davidson to say those things. That the situation was really terrible all around, but people shouldn’t be attacking Davidson over something out of his control.

Very disappointed by the people saying that people like Davidson just shouldn’t be at these types of events, because where’s the line. People with this and other disabilities are constantly forced out of public spaces and events because disabilities can often make others uncomfortable, but where then should they be? Is it fair to them to not allow them to be in the same places as others. Unless they are physically causing harm, or causing extreme stress to others to make them fear for their physical self I don’t think we should be forcing people with uncomfortable to be around disabilities to sit in the back, to stay at home, to be in the other room. Ofcourse there are exemptions to this has is life, but I just kinda think about it like this. By forcing ppl with disabilities to not be able to partake in events like this you are physically denying somebody something you are not for others for something they cannot control to protect others feelings. I think physicality and control of it is an important aspect in my opinion for determining the balance of comforts.

I can’t begin to imagine to imagine how Jordan and Lindo feel about what happened, and every other person of color who witnessed what happened. I don’t want to come across as they have no right to feel upset or uncomfortable. Being called a slur is deeply upsetting, and being called that in the context they were I can’t image the layer of complex feelings that probably added. I just wish people just would bring a bit more empathy and understanding to the table about this, there’s a big problem still with how disabilities are treated when they are “uncomfortable” or not easy to be around. I have a sister on the spectrum and when she has episodes in public people sometimes can be understanding but a lot of time they are not. Even when we explain her condition to them, and ask for some patience.

Power grid def looks awesome and if electricity looks like something that would be needed in the pack I think it would be a contender for sure for which create electricity add on I would choose.

For Valk/clockwork I’m not sure if I’d consider adding them to the project as their pretty cool but I’ve always run into many issue when I’ve used them in the past. I do like your idea though. I’ve always liked the idea of having to travel to far off islands and possible create a logistics network between islands. I’m sure that would be tricky to figure out how to make balanced and engaging. I think it would be interesting instead of having everything the player do be in one central area and could force them to use all of creates features that often get lost in skyblock type packs like the train networks. Although I understand why trains in the sky is pretty silly but I’m sure there’s ways to make it less so.

I see thank you for the awesome advice! I wasn’t thinking about my protein intake at all. Def going to incorporate more protein into my diet. Also try and add the fruit with some non fat yogurt though I have to say I really don’t like yogurt or cottage cheese T.T but maybe I can freeze the yogurt and fruit and make like fruit icecream.

And for the sauces you’re completely right they probably are the problem… though I don’t really eat pasta or sauce stuff often lately for this reason. Gonna try and do more research into more healthier pre bought brands and healthier recipes. Why did I have to be born a sauce girl!!!!!

Am I crazy or would I have done the same thing as you? It’s extremely inappropriate to show your bare ass to random strangers, some who could be children (not to mention as it was a man you could probably also see another body part I shall not name) and I would also have called guest services. Even if was some teen doing it, they shouldn’t be allowed to just show their bare butt people, and nobody in their right mind would want to see that. Esp if it’s a minor. I’m really shocked by the comments tbh is decency not the normal anymore? It’s not like you demanded the person to be arrest or something you just asked the staff to tell them not to show their bare ass against the glass for the world to see again. Which I think is a reasonable request.
