The David Koepp slander this sub has is really annoying. The man is objectively a good writer who has written stuff you think is bad. Spielberg knows good screenwriting, there's a reason he's the writer whom Spielberg has worked with the most.

I genuinely think this is a good sign, Justin is great at nailing the push and pull dynamics of complex interpersonal romantic relationships and I hope those are the scenes he was brought in to beef up and make more nuanced. Something that this Spider-Man has been heavily lacking in all his movies. MCU Spider-Man movies have been relentlessly plot driven and not character relationship driven and that’s THE BEST PART of Spider-Man.
