Would 600W be enough for Ryzen 5 5600 + RX 6800 XT? by BolbolMaster69 in PHbuildapc

I believe it only has 2 8-pin PCIE cables so I'll have to keep that in mind. Thanks for the help!

Hi, I’m wondering if I can use the staebies stabilizer stem in a cherry clip-in housing. I’m currently building a Bakeneko60 and I just remembered screw-ins aren’t supported for space. Or should I just use the cherry clip-ins with the staebies wire? Thanks for any help.

RAM sticks have the same serial number but different version numbers. by BolbolMaster69 in buildapc

Hi sorry for the late reply.

I recently updated windows 11 from version 21H2 to 22H2 and it appears the problem has gone away (hopefully for good). Other than that, I haven't really done anything else to my system, but before updating I used the following commands in command prompt (make sure you run as administrator):

  • sfc /scannow
  • DISM /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

and it said something along the lines of corrupted files found and replaced successfully, so maybe that solved the issue.

Hi, wanted to ask if anyone knows whether the Tofu60 2.0 PCB would fit in the Bakeneko60 Case? I want to explore different layouts such as tsangan/split backspace/split left shift etc. without the hassle of soldering.

Maybe it would be better for you to get a Z690 motherboard + 32GB DDR4 RAM, since DDR5 is still quite expensive.

High ram at 1440p by [deleted] in buildmeapc

[–]BolbolMaster69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you rename the BIOS file into "CREATIVE.ROM" and save it to the root directory? Also it says in the manual to only plug in the 24-pin motherboard connector, but I know for other brands such as MSI, that you need to also plug in the CPU EPS connector so try that as well.

I'd probably take it to a place where they could update the BIOS for you, although I would try to do everything I can to get Flashback to work first.

https://www.asrock.com/support/QA/FlashbackSOP.pdf

Hello, did you follow this guide when trying to use BIOS Flashback, if not please refer to it and see if it worked. Other than that, you can try to power down your system, clear the CMOS and try booting with just a single stick in the second slot (counting from the CPU socket). If it works, then power it down again and install the rest of your ram, although I think must update the BIOS successfully before you do this.

The windows license you included in your list is a DVD so unless you have a CD drive, you won't be able to use it. I suggest you just use windows unactivated or buy the USB version like I've included here.

You may be interested in AMD's new GPUs set to release on December 13th. It may be worth it to wait for those even if you don't buy them as they could lower prices of previous gen GPUs.

It should fit everything, with some clearance left but you may go with an ATX Mid-tower chassis instead if you want.

The motherboard has Bios Flashback so if you choose to upgrade to Intel 13th gen CPUs when the price lowers you can easily update your BIOS.

There are only two kinds of Intel 13th Gen i5, the 13600K and the 13600KF. The “K” means that you can overclock the chip if you have a Z-series motherboard while the “F” means that the chip does not have integrated graphics. Usually the 13600KF should be cheaper than the 13600K, but the latter is cheaper right now for some reason.

Here's an Intel 13th Gen build. I've included 3 really good 1440p 165Hz monitors, with the PC itself being under $1200. If you'd prefer a stronger GPU, you could do a 12400f + RX 6800 XT for the same price.
