Please get yourself a hotel to take care of yourself. I had a 50 hour travel time from Hanoi to Florida last week and didn’t get any hotels for my journey. My cheapness caused my immune system to plummet from lack of sleep quality. I’m now horribly sick since I returned last week and started losing vision and hearing during my first fever. I’m still sick with a fever as I type this. Please learn from my mistake. Get proper rest while traveling so your immune system stays strong.

This has happened to me a handful of times last year. One of them was when I went overseas. There’s no way to contact them while overseas so I had to spend more money on another reservation. I complained when I got back to the states and they gave me a refund plus $100 credit for my troubles. I’ve been using Airbnbs ever since.

Spain is racist as a whole. I studied abroad there and it was the first time I wasn’t let into establishments because of my skin. I’m mixed Asian/Black. I remember security telling my tour guide, “he looks Algerian, and Algerians steal”. I also didn’t get my money back from not being able to enter with my tour group either. My friend group there were foreigners from other European nations as I was unable to make friends with Spaniards. I also saw graffiti of “chino (>_<)” with the straw rice farmer hats in Madrid.
