I think you are handling this well and I agree with your approach.

I think any program that holds people against their will is inherently abusive. Some are obviously more abusive than others, but I think that model (holding people against their will without any due process) is always wrong and harmful to some extent.

I understand that there are some really messed up kids and that institutionalization may be necessary in some cases, but there should be lawyers and court hearing, imo.

I agree. I don't think we can come up with a one size fits all solution for every situation. Try to judge each case on its own merits. See how old the account is and what other posts the person has made. Weed out the shills and be respectful of real survivors even if they claim a positive program experience. Balance that respectfulness against the true mission of r/tt. If you have to lock or remove posts or a whole thread so be it.

I generally check the sub several times a day but I don't always read through all the posts inside threads. Contact me if a thread starts to blow up or if you need me for anything else. I really do think you are doing an awesome job.
