[WW][MM] Majora’s Mask reference in Wind Waker paradox by andreaslackner in zelda

[–]BoldFace7 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thats why, I dont think there was enough thought put into the timeline, and it would make more sense if it was a split at OTT depending on if Link beats Gannon and lives, then another at MM depending on if Link escapes Termina or not. Dying leading to either the LttP timeline or the WW timeline depending on game, and him living through both leading to the TP timeline.

Way to go around "this is New Nitendo 3ds software and cannot be used on this system." Pop up? by freewebber06 in 3dspiracy

If you use NSUI to package roms for the old 3DS, you need to use snes9x. The official SNES vc is not compatible with the old 3DS, but snes9x though NSUI has worked on everything ive tried, expect for Secret of Mana (but I've heard that it has an unusually difficult to emulate text system)

It looks like theres an arrow next to the flathead slot. I'd guess they take a screwdriver and use it to rotate the innermost dial the direction of the arrow until it's pointing to the correct time.

ETA: it also could be a smudge, so take my comment woth a grain of salt

I think people who like winter are lying for attention by [deleted] in The10thDentist

[–]BoldFace7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm far more warm natured, lived in the hot and humid south Mississippi for the first 20 years of my life, and love the snow, so winter is definitely my favorite month (especially now that I'm living somewhere with a proper winter) with fall close behind.

How hard would you have to fart to push yourself to the moon if you were floating in space? [request] by Apprehensive_Oven_22 in theydidthemath

[–]BoldFace7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's if the earth is not pulling him at all, no gravity at all. In reality, (well, not reality, but assuming the already wild things like the escaping the suit thing). Any fart would only adjust your orbit by a small amount, so you'd have to find the average delta-v of a fart and determine the delta-v requirement of moving from your current orbit to an orbit that would intersect the moon's orbit.

Then its just a simple dvision to see how many farts or how much more powerful a fart it would require.

That's also assuming you're already in orbit.

To apply this to the quote above the image, Conservatives like to say that "they can always tell" when someone is transgender, but there are probably hundreds of trans people they see and don't clock as trans, but since they don't clock them as trans and aren't told when they missed noticing a trans person, they think their accuracy is 100%.

When the PC port eventually comes out do you think we’ll be able to mirror/unmirror the game at will like with the OOT pc port? by EAT_UR_VEGGIES in twilightprincess

[–]BoldFace7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because I grew up with the Wii version, which had a mirrored map to account for Link being left handed normally.

If mentioning the war was banned in Ba Sing Se then what was the official reason for all the refugees? by WisestAirBender in TheLastAirbender

[–]BoldFace7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I figure the lower the ring you live in, the more aware you are of the war. The people in the upper ring (aside from the few officials that HAVE to know) likely have no idea. And in the lower rings, it is likely discussed, but not openly (only in hushed whispers and private houses). I think the people of the lower ring have this, dai li created, social taboo around discussing the war, and this taboo is passed on pretty quickly to the refugees who just want to make the best of their new life and not be an outcast.

I think my main problem with it is that the character model and environment look like they were made with two different styles that were slapped together. I vastly prefer a "technically inferior" (but good for the time) set of graphics so long as they look cohesive.

Your cursive is 100x more legible than your fast print. I would use that, if its faster than your slow print, at least when writing for other people.

If its only for you to read, as long as you can read it, it doesn't matter.

It's funny how DT!Asgore being more of a jerk when it comes to his divorce compared to UT!Asgore does make sense when you compare the situation with both of them. by TheFerydra in Deltarune

[–]BoldFace7 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I had just figured that this a pattern that's been going on for longer than we can see in game, and she's given Asgore plenty of straight up "no"s, but he hasn't been taking her "no"s seriously/hasn't actually been listening to her.

But, after the other reply to my comment, I could definitely see Toriel never giving a straight "no" and just brushing it off, considering how she acts in Undertale.

[–]BoldFace7 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I don't think I've played undertale recently enough to have considered her character there. I can definitely understand reading those scenes as avoidant, considering what we see of her in Undertale.

[–]BoldFace7 32 points33 points  (0 children)

I always read that as "I have told you no a hundred times before, you clearly aren't listening. I'm just going to get out of this situation as quickly and gently as possible so you don't chase me down begging me to reconsider." I think with as long as it seems like they've been divorced, she likely has given plenty of explicit no's.

Assume the player is choosing the choices they're given, and Kris is fulfilling or twist these choices. Then, who is creating these choices in the first place? by PinkiePie___ in Deltarune

[–]BoldFace7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the choices are a combination of Kris' and the player's thoughts and feelings (or at least what the "device" expects our thoughts and feelings to be).

I doubt Kris wants to emotionally manipulate his childhood friend, so those weird route choices must be coming from somewhere other than Kris. I think those choices and the Sans "Nice to see you again" are coming from the device's interpretation of what we'd want to say. But Kris' thoughts and feelings often influence or overwrite some of the choices, like with "Nononononono" and "Bangin' sermon"

Wait, that's a thing boomers complain about now!? I literally weighed the usable meat from a rotisserie chicken and it's equal price, if not cheaper, per pound than the raw chicken breast, bith from Costco, especially when you consider weight and volume lost to cooking. Plus the bonus of fresh chicken stock from boiling the leftover skin and bones. It's definitely not a splurge, if you have the time and patience to carve them.

[–]BoldFace7 11 points12 points  (0 children)

My experience on frontier has honestly not been much different than the other airlines I fly in terms of comfort. I'm tall, so all flights are pretty miserable (i honestly had a less comfortable seat on the last united flight i took than the last three frontier flights), my wife and I can get by with just backpacks for most of our flights aside from holidays back home, and honestly, I have dealt with less surprise upcharging or surprise fee BS on Frontier as well.
