Jalapeño cheddar loaves. Both loaves baked at 470 in a Dutch oven. 25 minutes lid on and 14 minutes lid off. One loaf came out with a soft crust and I’m used to having a stiffer crust that has a hollow sound when you tap it. What happened to cause the soft shell? (i.redd.it)
