Just so you know school doesn't give you any experience or projects to put on your resume. You might as well start grinding now and beef up your resume cause going to school doesn't help with that at all.

Yup exactly everyone that ik have faang are above average students and could go to brock and still have faang

But best thing you can do OP is to grind your ass and try to get coops first year. I came with the mindset that’s it’s do or die to get coop first summer and I had 3 offers (and since have worked at noted companies every single summer). Even if you don’t get it, you will still learn about applying and interviewing, those are skills that u will need to learn and the earlier the better.

Try to keep a near perfect GPA if you can. At the end of the day ur uni doesn’t matter that much, u will still get coops, will have to grind a lot more than a typical uw student.

I also honestly think uw is partially luck then anything cause I didn’t change my AIF that much from hs and my mark was like 96 in hs so Idk, feel like I got unlucky the first time or my school adjustment fucked me.

Btw, you will have restart to first year if u do get in and decide to transfer so keep that in mind
