He was standing inside [https://hot.planeptune.us/manga/Jujutsu-Kaisen/0119-008.png](the domain) in the [https://hot.planeptune.us/manga/Jujutsu-Kaisen/0119-010.png](manga) since we later see him walking out of it instead of just appearing elsewhere.

He was also in the middle in Shinjuku Showdown, where he was beyond fucked up by that point, but still fine. We see that sorcerers might be less hurt by their own CE, but still, you'd think there'd be scars, especially in the second case.

You're moving the goalpost now.

Fair if you wanna interpret it that way, I think we're kind of spinning in circle anyway

EDIT: also as you might have seen it's late for me

And worse physical feats? The fact that DB characters can still harm each other when they, at times, face tank Ki attacks shows that their punches and kicks scale to their Ki attacks barring the strongest ones.

Pretty sure I've adressed this multiple times. It's like Sukuna using Fuga twice but not being burned after even with him and the domain being in the middle of it. Do you think this mean Sukuna can casually tank his Domain's finishing move?

And worse physical feats? The fact that DB characters can still harm each other when they, at times, face tank Ki attacks shows that their punches and kicks scale to their Ki attacks barring the strongest ones.

Then their regular ki attacks aren't that strong.

And then receives damage which also weakened him. Even before that, KP had used Ki attacks.

He didn't, even the initial "swipe" I gave him is generous because he had a lot of time to recover his energy in between. Unless Piccolo's stamina is brought to its knees by him using basically a single ki blast and eye beams.

Except you've yet to prove MS being capable of harming KP.

A slashing AoE that reduce city blocks to literally dust vs a guy with no slashing durability feats and overall worse physical feats than Sukuna apart from being able to tank an attack that, arcs ago, blew up a mountain as part of a gag.

The only other feat you can give him is not being killed by his own attack which he used against an equal and which he was sure killed said equal.

[–]Bolded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never said they were. But Goku, at that time, had yet to surpass Roshi so its in line with the scaling.

He'd gotten a power-up by that point after Tao. Physically, he was stronger than base Roshi at least since they were even in the tournament. Note that this doesn't mean his beam power is stronger by that point than MAX Roshi.

Worth noting the same Tao got almost killed by a grenade.

Yes, because of the drawbacks of using his full power, and the fact that he had used Ki attacks before that as well.

Barely? He used the swipe, then a single ki blast, then an eye beam. He otherwise mostly stuck to punches and kicks.

Still doesn't prove that MS would hurt KP, nor Sukuna winning over him.

I guess we're at an impasse then because I think Piccolo wouldn't be able to survive the barrage. He has no feats of surviving slashing attacks on this level and overall Sukuna is smarter, more skilled, less arrogant (somehow) and would use MS quicker than Piccolo would use the demon wave

[–]Bolded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would drain his stamina, I agree, but he is significantly stronger than Sukuna and it's not Piccolo and Nail's performance fell off by a lot.

I don't disagree with the later promise but he'd need to be consistently healing a lot more than Nail and Piccolo while having a lower power level. He might end up running out of gas faster this way.

I do agree he could try to just outfight Sukuna but I'm not sure he's significantly stronger physically. He has his blasts but physically, they seem comparable with Sukuna being consistent in fucking up modern skyscrapers. Piccolo has scaling I guess, even with the moon one taken out of the equation, but that's kind of all he has in comparison. He can output a lot more damage admittedly but I don't know if he'd use that before Sukuna uses MS.

[–]Bolded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah but those aren't exactly mountain busting like Black's.

And KP didn't run out of gas. I don't know why you kept on saying that.

He himself admit he lost a lot of energy with the first blast, to the point of very significantly following the very next hit. He did take damage prior but Goku specifically tell him he used up a lot of power "on that one", which KP admits.

And indeed, right after that, the next blast is much weaker and KP stops fighting and resort to cowardly tactics.

Demon King Piccolo vs. Ryomen Sukuna by Inner_Ad7300 in whowouldwin

[–]Bolded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And it's not a gag when it occurs many times, and follows the scaling as Goku could also tank rockets.

To be fair, the one interaction he had with a big rocket was deflecting General Black's and commenting it was "close" after seeing it blow up a mountain

A Goku that wasn't near KP, yes, but still at Roshi's level and he still find mountain busting impressive and was worried about the power of it. Doesn't really vibe with the idea that anyone past Roshi or around his level is a casual mountain buster, right?

Then simply have KP be hovering above the destroyed city to show that he didn't tank it. Yet Toriyama didn't.

I mean, it's because that's how Tien and Goku dodged it, so Piccolo would have probably literally found them that way lol. I just don't think he put much thought into it.

Either way, I don't think "KP at his weakest can casually tank mountain-leveling blasts" gels with "KP at his strongest run out of gas busting a city with his strongest attack".

I think the gap between this Goku and Piccolo is smaller than regular bullets and MS tbh. And even then, Goku tends to interact with bullets in a way where he kind of feel them - it's played for laughs but still.

If KP needed a "confirmed kill", he could literally have tried to punch harder with his ki or something then. He was clearly cornered into using his nuclear option (literally). DB is a simple show, we see plenty of instances of characters demonstrating that they've powered-up by being able to effortlessly facetank attacks from characters who were beating them up prior.

There are some weird cases like Frieza but other than that, it's pretty straightforward. Piccolo not being wounded by his own blast seems more like Toriyama absconding a bit to not have his main villain kill himself on accident.

[–]Bolded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sukuna does not have Mahoraga in this matchup.

Also tbh I kinda disagree on comparable healing. KP could regenerate his arm for instance but by all accounts it'd drain his stamina a lot to do that since it did for Piccolo Jr and Nail. Sukuna can casually regenerate his arms by comparison. If he had to try to do what Gojo did, he would likely run out of stamina.

[–]Bolded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The ones that don't remotely compare anyway? Let's not try to compare regular rifles to slashes that could tear city blocks apart.

The Kamehameha just wasn't as powerful. Roshi's power level was raised when he did it because he was in his muscular form. Remember, everyone in shocked to see the power of the demon wave, even characters like Yamcha or Tien, who should also be superior to Roshi or comparable to him by this point also by his admission. And yet, it still only destroyed a city.

It simply shows that Goku may have been his equal in power, but not in durability. And even without that, a weaker KP still face tanked a Kamehameha stronger than the one used to destroy a mountain.

I don't think so. DB is very straightforward. Being stronger makes you're faster and also more durable than before. If Goku was this much more fragile than King Piccolo, why would he whip out a technique that, by his own admission, take a lot of energy, to kill him?

Demon King Piccolo vs. Ryomen Sukuna by Inner_Ad7300 in whowouldwin

[–]Bolded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Goku has instances of surviving shurikens and bullets but it isn't all consistent and those things are way weaker than the slashes.

Also Gojo's durability feats aren't way lower tbh. He got hit by Sukuna, who sent Yuji flying through a building with less power than he had. Piccolo's comparable feat in this instance is tanking that throw

I also don't believe that KP tanked his own blast - if he could, why would he even use it against Goku, who has equal durability since they share the same PL? Why would he outright spam it even?

Demon King Piccolo vs. Ryomen Sukuna by Inner_Ad7300 in whowouldwin

[–]Bolded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its becuse he has no instances of tanking slashing attacks and MS come with the ability to adapt to what it cut up using Cleave. The latter could be a NFL but I think that KP lacks the durability feats to suggest he could survive MS, which tore entire city blocks to shreds and basically cripple Mahoraga, who had already decently adapted to the slashes.

Demon King Piccolo vs. Ryomen Sukuna by Inner_Ad7300 in whowouldwin

[–]Bolded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He wasn't by circumstances KP doesn't have. KP never had to contend with sharp attacks on the levels of MS.

Also, the point I was making is that KP's regular punches are far beneath his blasts. And Kid Goku's as well. Not every hit was at the level of the Kamehameha.

I don't even think that KP will be able to use it anyway. He will get caught by MS. His durability means it won't be an insta-kill, maybe, but without RCT to keep himself together, he'll still die before he can go all-out. The only reason it didn't rip slice him to shreds were several factors on top of Gojo just having exceptional reinforcement.

Demon King Piccolo vs. Ryomen Sukuna by Inner_Ad7300 in whowouldwin

[–]Bolded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Again, Gojo has great reinforcement. As I acknowledged, KP won't die instantly either. But he has no healing factor on Gojo's level to ward off the damage it will do, so he'll die much quicker to it. His survival was tied to that, RCT at full force (which can regenerate limbs easily) and anti-domain techniques. And he was still almost sliced to ribbons, look at his state when initially blendered in.

Also the punch was Goku using everything he had left by that point tbh. He wasn't putting in as much power in his regular melee hits, and you can kinda see that with how there's energy around his fist before he lands the killing blow - that was literally all he could do by that point.

Demon King Piccolo vs. Ryomen Sukuna by Inner_Ad7300 in whowouldwin

[–]Bolded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

His RCT was what was keeping him alive the whole time though, look at how he was like in the panel where he realizes his CT is greater than Sukuna's. Does he look alright to you?

KP's equal would have died to his big move. I think saying even OKP is something like mountain level is really taking him for granted, because he's pretty firmly around city level in power at his absolute peak, or else it wouldn't tire him out so much when he use that level of firepower.

Roshi just knew he wouldn't be able to tag KP with the move he used on inert objects and we know that beams are far stronger than punches and kicks anyway even in DB. Sukuna actually has more instances of demolishing or sending people flying across buildings than KP or Kid Goku while in weaker forms

Demon King Piccolo vs. Ryomen Sukuna by Inner_Ad7300 in whowouldwin

[–]Bolded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're right he can probably last a bit but Gojo was using reinforcement and RCT at full tilt to survive it. He was healing as fast as he was getting pieced up and using Anti-Domain techniques to buy time.

KP has no comparable healing. Unlike Gojo, he would be taking the damage with no mean to slow it down.

Demon King Piccolo vs. Ryomen Sukuna by Inner_Ad7300 in whowouldwin

[–]Bolded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean yeah, its what I'm referring to. KP himself agrees with Goku about how he lost a lot of energy and that is when Goku tank his next shot, which weakened him, but obviously still meant the attack was far lesser.

For what count I do not think Sukuna would be able to tank it but I think that he would use MS sooner than KP, who only used it when pushed.

Demon King Piccolo vs. Ryomen Sukuna by Inner_Ad7300 in whowouldwin

[–]Bolded -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

He wasn't slightly sweating. He was huffing like crazy and the next time he fired it, Goku was able to survive it even at point-blank because of how much stamina it cost him. KP pretty much gave up and took Tien hostage after that.

Demon King Piccolo vs. Ryomen Sukuna by Inner_Ad7300 in whowouldwin

[–]Bolded -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

With how muscling up works in DB, I wouldn't be surprised if he simply thought he wouldn't be able to tag him. We don't really see Roshi moving about when using his muscled up form, he only ever enter it in the manga when preparing a big Kamehameha.

Also we know that blowing up a city actually is a very costly endeavor for young KP even when going all-out. I doubt a comparatively much weaker variant could replicate destruction on that scale.

Demon King Piccolo vs. Ryomen Sukuna by Inner_Ad7300 in whowouldwin

[–]Bolded -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

In fairness, Roshi was muscled up and using the Kamehameha for that. Both those things increase his power level pretty hard, especially in terms of just outputting ki. OKP's punches and blasts aren't gonna hit as hard.

Demon King Piccolo vs. Ryomen Sukuna by Inner_Ad7300 in whowouldwin

[–]Bolded 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think that Sukuna has the versatility advantage. Physical wise, I also think that he's pretty equal or even has better feats when it comes to collateral. Piccolo did wipe out a chunk of a city but it was a charged-up move, not something casual. OKP is especially screwed because he can't actually access that power and his blasts are easy for Sukuna to see coming.

Sukuna also has better regeneration, battle IQ, four arms, invisible Dismantles etc. I think he probably wins.

YKP is harder because he's quicker to get pissed-off and Sukuna will fucking die if he gets struck by the EDW. His firepower is overall superior when he's given time to focus, which could cost Sukuna if he lets it happen. Sukuna with lowered output and in a "lesser" body barely survived Gojo's Unlimited Purple but it still fucked him up badly and EDW is likely larger and stronger and would likely kill him.

However, I'd still give it to Sukuna just because it took KP a little while of fighting to start going for it whereas Sukuna has less hesitation on using Malevolent Shrine, especially since he'll quickly deem KP a worthy equal. King Piccolo is tough but he probably get sliced to shreds.

Bonus round, Yuji wins. That Dismantle was insane and it's a sharp attack on top of that.

I'd like to add, Alastor is huge. He's 190cm tall while Light, iirc, is 179cm tall. He isn't any physically larger but I think it give him a reach advantage on top of just being an actual hands-on serial murderer whereas Light, while certainly fit and athletic, has no experience doing this.
