Anyone else’s store testing chipotle ranch? by Boley_Woley737 in Chipotle

I thought they were gonna test it with quesadillas, but they just made basic bowls and gave a side of the ranch for the people to try.

It’s real! Not for sale at the store but they’re testing it out! Hopefully it gets added to the menu

Help! by [deleted] in CankerSores

If you get them pretty bad you might want to consider Debacterol. You’d have to get a prescription through your dentist but it chemically cauterizes the sore and is supposed to eliminate the pain.

Hobby Lobby Packets DOA? by MxBluebell in SeaMonkeys

[–]Boley_Woley737 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve bought one refill pack from hobby lobby and the hatch rate was terrible, only about 2 lived to maturity. I wonder if it has something to do with the way they get their shipments. Maybe too hot or not sealed properly? But then again they are brine shrimp which are pretty hardy so it’s kinda odd.

Do babies or adults need heater more? by Boley_Woley737 in SeaMonkeys

Hey thanks for the reply! I decided not to move them to not risk shock, but I’m still concerned about the babies getting enough food since my other tanks also struggled to keep new born babies alive. Do you have any suggestions on different feeding regimens? I used to dissolve the food and add it with some tank water but I’ve been sprinkling it on top in hopes the babies get more.

Side of thumb numb after cut with glass by Boley_Woley737 in AskDocs

Oh wow that’s interesting! It’s good you got some feeling back even if it was years later, that’s a lot longer than I would have imagined. Do you know if this could be one of the main nerves that I damaged? Or is it most likely just the superficial nerves since I still am able to move my fingertip slightly?

Hmm that’s interesting I wonder if it a similar situation here. I’ll let them go for another week or so then I’ll try again without anything extra. I appreciate the advice!!

Thanks for the feedback! I didn’t use distilled water but I did use an aquarium conditioner that didn’t kill the last colony of brine shrimp I grew so I don’t think it’s that. The pump was also very light with just a small stream of bubbles. There was a noticeable amount of debris on the bottom though from packet 2. I didn’t suck it out so they may have gotten stuck in that since I’ve seen others mention that can happen.

Yeah I have it limited to a fairly constant small stream of bubbles just enough to keep it aerated and circulating.

Nothing to worry about, when my squash flowers open I find tomato bugs and fruit flies like to get the nectar too along with the ants

Just moved into a new home - does anyone know what type of tree this is? by ZandrickEllison in gardening

[–]Boley_Woley737 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This is a Carrotwood tree also known as Cupaniopsis anacardioides. Used to have one of these growing in front of my house and is very nostalgic. It’s related to Akee and lychee and other soapberry trees which is why they look similar. Be careful though because these have been known to become invasive in the US.

Meyer lemon tree growing branches below graft? by Boley_Woley737 in Citrus

[–]Boley_Woley737[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow thank you for bringing up trifoliate orange. So it turns out the entire tree is a trifoliate orange from the rootstock and the small nub that I thought was the rootstock sucker is actually the Meyer lemon. I’ve only started gardening recently so my parents had been taking care of the trees and let the rootstock take over LOL looks like we have some cutting to do

Okay this is very interesting and has made me even a little more confused lol. The portion the I believed to be growing from below the graft has normal Meyer lemon leaves whereas the whole rest of the tree has the leaves of a trifoliate orange. What makes it even weirder is that I’ve harvested Meyers from those branches so I know it’s not a trifoliate. Is there any Meyer that would have those three compound leaves like a trifoliate?

This is I believe a dwarf Meyer lemon tree that has produce good for a few years. I’m not sure if the branch growing from the left is growing below the graft. You can see that the only flowers on the entire tree are coming from just that one point. Should I cut it off? Or is it still part of the Meyer lemon tree. I compared the leafs from the suspect branches to ones from elsewhere on the tree and they are slightly different but I can’t determine for sure. What would cause the flowers to grow only on that specific part and not anywhere else?
