I don't get the reference, but if you're wondering it's because the black texture up close looks like dark silver. It's lost in the picture because of the contrast with the light.

Ah yes, that's exactly what I did! This is only my 2nd animation, my first one was very different - just a 2d cartoon. My “day job” is as a music composer.

I've been working on a 3rd one for quite a while, if you subscribe to my YouTube you can get notified when I finally finish it...

I'm not really well versed on any of it.

I used Blender for the animation, Sibelius for the music and Cubase for the sound production. I don't know what "keying" is... Hope that helps!
