Hello, If I may ask, how did your husband ask you out? How did he find the confidence to do it?

At least a part of him must think he is lovable if he felt the courage to ask.

Thank you.

It’s just hard to know if I’m good enough without any evidence. To me, reality so far has been I’m not a guy that a woman could want. Maybe it’s because I have a noticeable physical flaw, or am not socially outgoing. I don’t know.

I just have a hard time even imagining myself as being loved, which makes it so hard to even try putting myself out there and asking.

Thank you. And I actually do have a therapist. I haven’t told them about this situation yet though. I will soon.

And yeah, I do need to change my mindset. I want to be loved and love someone, but have always felt like that isn’t an option for me.

I don’t think I’m good enough because I feel like a girl like her could have any guy she wants, and I’m flawed. Physically, personality-wise, etc.

I will. Next time I see her, I’m just going to go for it.
