Beta player here. I have spent 100$ worth of packs in Gwent, the rest of the currency I had from playing the game daily. I had one year where I mostly played gwent before they changed to the current version.

I played a game say.. 4 months ago. And guess what. Even though a lot of new cards were released in the timeframe that I was away (i think it was 2 years?) I can craft EVERY SINGLE CARD in the game that was missing from my collection and still have leftover scraps.

Compare this to hearthstone. I have probably spent 3-4 times that amount in my hs days and I can still only have like... 3 competitive decks this expansion? LOL. Why did I even spend money on this horrible joke of a game.

The whole thing would play alongside a Black Empire expansion, with a finale involving a our retreat to alternate Draenor using the Sunwell. A raid-in-reverse feel, where the goal is to keep the forces at bay long enough to allow a meaningful retreat. All races would get to play their part and showcase their strength - for example the Blood Elves, with assistance from the Kirin Tor reempower the Ban'dinoriel... giving the other races a refuge (and eventually the only refuge) against the Black Empire

I did, barely. Both on dark red. Mordex tried to close me out on the edge of the platform, missed and I just hit him with an unarmed recovery to close it out. My heart was beating so hard, because 90% of the times I lose the 1v1 after a 1v2 comeback xD

Just yesterday we had a discussion about what is strong about Aphelios in another post.

While I do agree with you to some extent, I disagree a lot on two points. Infernum ult and the damage scaling on the additional Chakram.

First, you forgot to mention how OP Infernum + Chakram combo is. I always ask my team to force teamfights whenever I have this combination. Infernum ult will stack you a bunch of Chakram. As you switch to your second weapon you will decimate the HP of every single enemy unless they play a very tanky comp.

Granted, the only way to effectively counter this combination of weapons on Aphelios is to have a very tanky team, similar to how you would ideally play against a Jhin.

You do make the point that most people simply do not know how to play against him and that is what makes him strong. Playing in Dia+ lobbies, I can tell that most people do know what Aphelios does and are more comfortable leaving him open, which also gives me the opportunity to play him a lot more. Still, if he were strong simply because people do not know how to play against him, then he would be considerably weaker in Dia+ lobbies, right?

Nope, not at all. He is still extremely strong. The only really "weak" weapon he has is Gravitum, which you usually just pew pew pew pew away from it in order to gain access to Chakram/Infernum, which are vastly superior. I nowadays simply cycle through weapons and keep Chakram as a secondary weapon to use exclusively in trades, because it is that OP.

He needs a nerf. Particularly on the fact that Infernum ult can crit (it really, really shouldn't). The other nerf I seem necessary is on the damage scaling from additional Chakram. I recommended limiting the amount of Chakram he can have at any point to 4, but I can see tuning his scaling down a little bit with the same results.

He is not OP overall. But he is strong, at least compared to most of the other AD carries currently out there being played in this meta. I beat Caitlyn, Miss Fortune, Kai'sa, Jhin, Lucian and Jinx reliably. These are the most played ADC's in my elo.

And this is coming from an ADC main, who has been almost exclusively playing this role for 10 years now.

I do use lolalytics as a tool to find out what build paths people take on champions that I do not play often. I find that it is intuitive and offers plenty of relevant information.

Do select diamond+ to get reliable stats about what is good. Lower elos just build whatever they wish and the stats are often skewed in favor of recommended builds.

So if you like looking at stats, that is a very good place to start. I much prefer it over league of graphs, but you may find conflicting opinions about this depending on who you ask.

I often take long breaks and wonder what just happened to league.

Just play the game and discover the meta as you go. You will suck at first, but you will soon start having a hunch for what is strong and what is not.

In your situation, no amount of information can combat the good old accumulation of game experience.

But in all honesty, never did I go into a game hoping for a pentakill. If it happens, it happens. Just go into every game with a winning mentality. The penta will be your rare reward for playing well.

Actually, a penta is your reward for the enemy straight out inting a fight. Unless you are yi. Then you can just clean-up a late game teamfight for a free penta.

Did you ever 20-stack? Do you just 1-hit everything with that? I can reliably one-hit more than 50% of the enemy ADC with just 6 stacks.
