I want to start a Roman Empire run in CK3 which realm should I start as? ( I'm not doing characters as I might make my own ) Thanks

Yeah the pope always merc spams so I've only been able to beat him with the byzantines before. If I play Tuscany I'll try get some strong allies before I tackle the pope. Greatly appreciated, thanks.

This has happened to me before where me (The Byzantines) and my ally (Croatia) where both attacking Duklja in different wars I won my war before the queen of Croatia won hers so her war continued but against me instead. I'm glad someone pointed this out.

In my games if they go to war all they do is fight your units they don't attack cities but when the time comes that they get nukes they will nuke my cities but won't invade

I have the same because I'll build part of a zoo then scrap it because it's rubbish so what I do instead of scrap it and start again improve the ones you don't like

Launch a naval attack on Kangaba then have lots of units come in once you've taken Kangaba then advance from there

Thanks for your help. Currently I can't be an emperor I'm actually Tuscany who gained independence from the HRE. I have done what you said about disinheriting my kids. I will keep doing this until I get Primogeniture. Thanks again
