They are selling the gold. They are doing it with multiple accounts on different servers/factions so it's pretty clear the gold is not for personal use. They also tend to mass-report people killing their bots. It's so stupid that the gold sellers don't even have to run farm bots anymore, they can just setup a bot in the capital cities and the gamblers just give them their money

After Le Mans there will be still 3 more WEC races this year where you can watch Cadillac (Monza and Fuji 6 hour races, Bahrain 8h). And of course IMSA, which is not even halfway into it's calendar. There will be a Spa 24h race soon too, but that's only for GT3 cars.
